Terms and Conditions
HIGH TEA
- Final guest numbers and dietary requirements are to be confirmed 2 days prior to the function. These finalised numbers will form the basis for catering and per head charges. Additional charges may apply for special dietary requirements.
- A 30% deposit for groups of 6 or more, based on anticipated guest numbers, will be required to confirm a booking. Please be aware that your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The deposit is deducted from the final bill on the day. In an effort to discourage no shows or last minute cancellations within the booked group the contact person will be responsible for ensuring that full payment of the confirmed numbers is made.
- The deposit is refundable in full if the function is cancelled up to 4 days prior to the function date. Cancellations after that date will result in a forfeit of the deposit. Payment for the function less the deposit, is to be finalised on the day of the function. Groups under 6 may pay individually but we request one payment from larger groups.
- When you pay a deposit, both parties enter into a binding agreement and the date of the function is locked in. By making the booking and paying the deposit it is deemed that the client has read and agreed to the terms and conditions listed here.
- The client may cancel a booking, but will forfeit 100% of all booking deposits if the cancellation occurs between 4 and 0 days prior to the function date.
- If extenuating circumstances arise, or there is a suspension of trading due to the present Covid environment, the client can rebook the function for a later date without forfeiting the deposit. The final decision is at the discretion of the owner of the café.
- The standard booking allocation for High Teas is up to 2 hours. If additional time is requested, it will depend on the availability of the Room. Additional charges may apply for extended booking time.
